Our ideas of technology and machinery are tied up in the idea of planned obsolescence, but what if the machinery outlasted us? What if we gave them a task that they outlived? I had this idea of a machine that had outlived its purpose but still returned to the last place it saw its charge, bringing her favorite things, replaying their final day together. The machine has been warped by whatever happened that day, but she remains perfect in his memory forever.
